Olive Oil + Butter – olive oil and butter together are best to sautee anything in. The butter has amazing flavor and the olive oil helps to brown.
Smoked Sausage –If you have Hillshire Farm at your store, this is my favorite! You can also use Italian sausage as well. Chicken sausage can be a simple way to cut down on the fat content. You can easily use different types of sausage.
Broccoli Florets – Cut broccoli into small bite size pieces. They'll also cook faster.
Seasonings – This takes the flavor up a notch.
Instant Rice – You want to rice to cook fairly quickly so instant is best. You can also make Instant Pot Rice.
Shredded Cheddar Cheese – this is optional. But it gives amazing flavor!
